Able Assist – A compact transfer aid
The new Able Assist transfer aid is a viable and cost effective Arjo Sara Stedy alternative providing a safe and easy solution for a carer transferring patients from chair to chair or from chair to bed.
It has adjustable legs for easy transferring and manoeuvring and features a substantial and robust aluminium frame making it very manoeuvrable and light to use. It has a Maximum user weight limit of 185kg (29 stone).
The Able Assist is ideal for those patients who can raise from a seated position to a standing position, but have difficulty maintaining a standing posture. Once standing the patient’s legs are supported by the knee brace and for added security they can hold on to the horizontal bar in front of them
The 4 wheels, 2 of which have brakes, enable this fantastic Sara Stedy alternative to be manoeuvred easily from room to room The narrow width and compact length of the enables carers to manoeuvre easily through standard doorways.
The Able Assist can be wheeled directly up to a toilet, with wheels positioned either side of the toilet offering the patient more dignity to sit down.
There is a standard delivery charge of £90.00 (Inc VAT), which covers anywhere in the UK except Scottish Highlands and outlying islands. Please note the Able Assist is delivered on a pallet from a vehicle with a tail-lift. Please ensure that you facilities to dispose of the pallet and the cardboard packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.
