Now Rugby is being used to tackle child development issues…
In Melbourne, Australia, a pioneering programme is using occupational therapy methods in Rugby to facilitate development in children who have special needs such as autism spectrum disorders,
ADHD, anxiety and sensory processing difficulties. A spokesman for the programme said “The feedback from all the families has been really positive, especially from the kids. You can always see from the smiles on their faces after a session just how much they’re getting out of it.”
